Job Description:

You will be responsible for identifying new prospects, converting them into clients, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver the project. You will accomplish this through the ability to sell the full scope of the company’s solutions in a consultative manner, negotiate an effective contract, and tailor solutions that address client needs.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Building a business development plan to grow the solution area and target specific organisations, contacts and markets.
  • Selling solutions that are often integrated (cross-practice e.g. Learning & Development and Assessments) or meeting a variety of complex business challenges. To achieve this, cultivating senior relationships, identifying new opportunities, and key account management skills are critical.
  • Demonstrating a deep level of knowledge across your specialist category area, acting as a trusted advisor, both internally and externally.
  • Maintaining and expanding long-term relationships for the purpose of generating new and yield/cross-sell business.
  • You will work in a well-established global practice on multiple projects at one time, across several industries, and with different internal teams across India and other BTS global offices. It is vital to be a curious and agile person with a desire to apply and extend their skills in a consulting or corporate environment.
  • Managing autonomously complex projects with frequent client interactions, including interviewing top executives and translating the information gathered into the program concept and workshop design.
  • Leading and facilitating workshops.

Requirements

  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience working with consulting or learning and development companies.
  • An outstanding degree from a top University and/or MBA augmented by work experience in account management and consultative selling, MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record for developing new business and maintaining client relationships.
  • Significant experience in customer-centred consultative selling and pre/post-sales activities within professional services
  • Knows how to work with senior-level management. Solutions oriented.
  • Deep expertise in Learning, L&D and/or Assessment and selection, with a good understanding of how BTS’s broader solutions support business issues.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines.
  • A mature, humble, professional, and hands-on team player
  • Alignment with BTS values, including client-centricity and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Ability to present and defend a point of view constructively and persuasively.
  • Insatiable curiosity and drive to succeed.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 40-50% of the time in peak periods).
