Practice/Department: | Leadership & Coaching Practice |
Location: | Sydney, Australia |
Position Type: | Full Time, Non-Exempt |
Are you passionate about unlocking the potential in people and transforming strategy into action? With exciting growth ahead, BTS Australia is looking for a Director to join our high-impact team in either Sydney or Melbourne.
At BTS, we believe that the best strategies mean little if they’re not brilliantly executed. That’s where we come in—empowering our clients’ leaders with the mindsets, skills, and capabilities they need to succeed. We work with some of the world’s most respected organisations, helping their people turn big ideas into meaningful results.
As a Director at BTS, you’ll:
Partner with senior leaders of blue-chip companies across industries to design and deliver bespoke, experiential learning journeys.
Work closely with clients to understand their strategy, challenges, and people priorities—then co-create impactful leadership and business acumen experiences.
Facilitate high-energy, immersive workshops that blend insight, humour, competition, and reflection to spark lasting transformation.
Lead cross-functional BTS teams on multiple engagements at once—no long-term “client site” model here.
Travel across the region to deliver programs (up to 40–50% at peak times), with the rest of your time spent developing solutions, coaching peers, building relationships, and yes—having fun.
You’ll also:
Manage and grow client partnerships, including identifying new opportunities to add value.
Contribute to business growth by expanding key accounts and helping build our brand in Australia.
Mentor and develop our people, supporting the next generation of BTSers.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
10–12+ years of experience in leadership development, organisational consulting, or adjacent areas.
A proven track record in designing and delivering people solutions that drive business impact.
Experience selling or scoping consulting/training services with strong commercial outcomes.
Expertise in facilitation, coaching, and/or psychometric assessments (certification a plus).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the presence and authenticity to inspire trust.
Strategic agility and creativity to design solutions that link people and business.
Strong project and stakeholder management skills—you’re calm under pressure and thrive in complexity.
A humble, hands-on approach. You love working collaboratively and rolling up your sleeves.
Deep alignment with BTS’s values: entrepreneurial spirit, client centricity, and a people-first mindset.
We offer much more than a job—we offer a career experience shaped by learning, freedom, and purpose.
Global impact, local heart: Join a passionate, regionally-empowered team making a difference in APAC, backed by a global firm.
Unmatched learning: Accelerate your growth through exposure to senior leaders, complex business challenges, and a diverse range of industries.
Flexibility & wellbeing: Work from home up to 2 days/week, enjoy wellbeing days, and access coaching and mental health resources.
Fun & connection: From team offsites to spontaneous Slack banter, we bring the joy to the job.
A mission with meaning: Help leaders become better people, and organisations become better places to work.
