We work in small teams to develop experiential interventions, some of which may include customised business simulations, which support organisations in building and transforming their future workforce capability and culture.  Often we facilitate learning journeys directly with our clients in a workshop setting that incorporates humour, fun and competition, in order to enable lasting change.

What you’ll do in your role

As a Director within our Sales Practice, you’ll work directly with sales and marketing leaders from some of the world’s leading corporations including Global 100 largest companies. You’ll identify business results and then find key behaviours that drive sales and marketing. You’ll then craft learning experiences and simulations that build critical capabilities in those companies. The experiences we create and facilitate allow our clients to practice and learn in a risk-free environment, and to walk away with tangible action plans.

And you’ll do a lot more than this.

You’ll be shaping the leadership capabilities of our clients’ sales and marketing leaders as well as cultivating the skills of thousands of developing leaders across the globe. You’ll help customize a gamified sales execution platform that helps sales managers more effectively manage.

We work in small teams and on multiple projects at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. Approximately 50% of your time is spent facilitating the learning experiences you and your teammates create. Right now, and for the foreseeable future, these programs are being facilitated virtually, of course. Eventually we’ll return to doing much of our facilitation work onsite with our clients, in a workshop/event setting.  

When you’re not facilitating, your time is spent creating these amazing experiences we provide for our clients. Interviewing key stakeholders (including executives and top leaders), conducting research and analysis, writing – lots of writing! – testing the programs, and laughing. You’ll laugh a lot and have a lot of fun. And this is all done in a team-based setting where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day. As your skills and career grow, you’ll have the ability to manage client relationships, find new clients and opportunities, and grow the careers of others BTSers.

You’ll also have experience of managing and leading others. You know how to get the best out of people and how to inspire confidence and pride in our work. You can give useful, timely and constructive feedback.

We are also looking for entrepreneurial drive and diligence. You'll bring an executive presence and sense of gravitas built on significant experience in a consulting or corporate environment. Intellectual horsepower with strong business acumen. The courage and desire to present to a (Zoom) room that might have 50+ smart, eager people in it. We have consultants from all kinds of backgrounds, work experience, and education. We love diversity and variety.

You’ll have proven experience of business development and have a naturally consultative approach to sales. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a given.

What we're looking for

You'll bring an executive presence and sense of gravitas built on significant experience in a consulting or corporate environment. Intellectual horsepower with strong business acumen.

You’ll have proven experience of business development and have a naturally consultative approach to sales.  Able to communicate effectively with everyone you meet, you'll be skilled in leveraging a variety of communication channels, especially those requiring digital architecture.

You’ll also have experience of managing and leading others. You know how to get the best out of people and how to inspire confidence and pride in our work. You can give useful, timely and constructive feedback.

Currently we're delivering our work virtually, but if and when we return to delivering face-to-face experiences, we will return to regular global travel being a requirement of the role.
