The Role
Location: Madrid/Barcelona
BTS is looking for a Director to join our Sales & Marketing Practice in Spain, playing a key role in expanding our presence and impact in the local market while collaborating closely with international teams and global Centers of Expertise.
This role is ideal for a commercially driven consulting leader who combines strong business development capabilities with the ability to build trusted senior client relationships and shape high-impact transformation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the growth strategy for the Sales & Marketing Practice in Spain, aligned with BTS’s global positioning and go-to-market strategy.
- Build, manage and expand strategic relationships with enterprise and large corporate clients across industries.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders including C-suite executives, Commercial Directors, CHROs, Sales Leaders and General Managers.
- Identify client challenges and co-create impactful solutions across areas such as:
- Commercial transformation
- Go-to-market execution
- Leadership development
- Sales capability building
- Business acumen
- Change management and transformation
- Lead the full commercial lifecycle end-to-end, including opportunity generation, proposal shaping, commercial negotiation and deal closure.
- Partner closely with consulting and delivery teams to ensure solution excellence and client impact.
- Collaborate with international BTS teams and global experts to bring innovative capabilities and customized solutions to the Spanish market.
- Contribute actively to BTS’s positioning as a strategic transformation partner focused on people, performance and business impact.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, commercial leadership, business transformation or professional services environments.
- Strong track record in business development and managing complex enterprise relationships.
- Experience selling and shaping high-value consulting solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
- Credibility and confidence interacting with senior executive audiences.
- Strong commercial mindset combined with strategic thinking and client-centricity.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
- Collaborative leadership style with strong influencing capabilities.
- Passion for leadership, learning, transformation and people development.
- Native-level Spanish and fluent English are required.
- Italian and/or Portuguese are highly valued.
- International exposure and multicultural experience are a plus.
