As Senior Consultant at BTS, you will work directly with leaders from some of the world’s leading corporations. You will learn how their business works and what their strategies are, and you will be shaping the leadership capabilities of their senior management.
We work in small teams to develop impactful learning solutions, such as customised business experiences or leadership simulations. We then facilitate learning journeys with our clients in a workshop setting that incorporates humour, fun, and competition.
There are no industry verticals at BTS, and you won’t fly to the same city every week for three straight months, sitting in a spare cube at the client’s office. You will work on multiple projects at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. You will travel to facilitate programs regionally, which could be up to 40-50% of the time in peak periods.
The rest of the time will be spent creating the amazing experiences we provide for our clients. Interviewing clients, conducting research and analysis, testing programs, and laughing laughing. This is accomplished in a team-based setting, where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day. You will also progressively manage client relationships, find new clients and opportunities, and grow the careers of other BTSers
About the role:
- Manage client relationships, help clients address new needs within their organization. Every successful consultant at BTS is viewed as a valued strategic partner by the client.
- Design and development programs on strategy, finance, and/or innovation, including information gathering from key client stakeholders.
- Develop project leadership & management skills to become a key member of our international consulting team.
- Build strong client relationships resulting in identification and expansion of business development opportunities.
- Facilitate senior-level workshops to develop business, leadership, or innovation acumen, and manage change in regional blue-chip clients.

What We’re Looking For

Experience and Background Requirements & Preferences:
- At least 6 – 10 years of relevant experience, working with blue chip, consulting, and/or learning and development companies in the South-East Asian region.
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally an MBA, or equivalent experience
- Fluency in spoken and written English and *Bahasa Indonesia
- Proven presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to facilitate workshops in other Asian languages will be a PLUS.
- Interest in finance, leadership, and innovation.
- Experience in a client-facing role that involved developing new and existing client relationships, as well as project leadership and engagement management. Previous work history in account management is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to connect with people and work collaboratively.
- Thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office software packages.
- Interest and/or experience in consulting and entrepreneurship (case study competitions, consulting clubs, domestic/international travel, public speaking).
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 40-50% of the time in peak periods).

- Facilitates & presents in a captivating manner while communicating with others as regular people

- Takes responsibility for own work to help the team achieve objectives and outcomes
- Creates project plans that anticipate risks and takes action when incremental scope is needed
- Asks for and gives feedback, and identifies development opportunities for self as well as others
